The event's concept is to spotlight local DC talent in the style of celebration. FOR THE LOVE OF DC will also be the official after party for the Dreams for Kids Holiday Gift Wrapping Party.

FOR THE LOVE OF DC is the official relaunch party for ReadysetDC.com. Programming includes music by Typefighter, FATBACK, Alison Carney and a collaboration by Christylez Bacon and violist Christen Lien. Artwork by No Kings, Sergio Herrera and Diana Cruz. DC photographer Mark Silva will be on site to to capture your photo in the theme of "Dreaming", which means fog machines, props and more. There will also be free cotton candy.
